Secure Login from Anywhere! The Defender device may be accessed by authorized users from anywhere by using a web browser. SSL encryption is used to secure the connection.

The Start Page shows a status of your Defender device. It gives you a quick top level overview. Any news or software updates are listed here as well.

The system page allows you to start/stop Defender and to erase the database, reboot the system and shows if there is an update available to apply.

You can add avatars and text that describe each device or computer on your network. Defender automatically adds new devices to the host list when you attach them to your network.  You may chose to not collect data for the new device and/or hide the device from showing in the hosts lists but by default new devices have data collected for them and they are shown on the host list.

The settings page allow you to change you default password and view or change your network information.

The summary page gives you a quick overview of how your network is doing. It shows the CAPDEX, flagged ICQ/AIM messages, web pages or e-mails. It also gives you traffic, number of IMs, web pages served, e-mail messages and VoIP calls made and received.

The searches page shows you what web searches where performed and by whom.

The email page allows you to view email messages that may be against your corporate policies.

The VoIP pages shows you the status of calls received and made through your network. It can replay VoIP conversations where this is not against the law.

The Message page is a log of text messages. Messages with inappropriate content are hi-lighted.

The protocols page gives you an idea of what protocols are used most frequently in your network. You can click on a slice or a protocol name to find more details about it.
